In the Arabian Sea, the cyclone is likely to continue moving in a northerly direction till the morning of June 14, after which it will turn north-east and pass over Katy Bandar in Pakistan and the coast of Gujarat in India on June 15.

According to the officials, with the possible arrival of this storm, there is a possibility of strong winds and torrential rain in the south-eastern regions of Sindh, while from June 13 to 17, 100 km in the districts of Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas and Umarkot. Winds of up to 10 mph are possible.

According to NDMA, more than 100 mm of heavy rain is expected in Karachi and 300 to 400 mm in Sajawal, Badin and Thatta due to this storm. Apart from this, from the evening of June 13 (Tuesday), south and Other parts of Southeast Sindh, including Tharparkar and Mirpurkhas, may experience heavy rain with thundershowers and gusty winds leading to urban flooding in coastal areas.

Rain and strong winds are also predicted in Karachi, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Shaheed Benazirabad and Sanghar from June 14 to 16. According to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Karachi may be affected if the direction of the storm remains towards the north-west.

PDMA Punjab has also instructed all the institutions and district administration of Punjab to be on high alert in the alert issued in this regard.

According to the alert, westerly winds are likely to enter the upper regions of the country from June 14 due to the cyclone due to which there will be heavy rain in Lahore, Islamabad, Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin and Narowal. According to PDMA, intermittent rain with strong winds is expected in these districts from June 15 to 18, while there is a possibility of landslides in the hilly areas of Murree.
