The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee members have approved a 35% increase in the salaries of the board employees in view of rising inflation.
According to the sources, the highest increase has been made in the salaries of employees like finance, groundman, driver, dustman, for which the proposed rate has been kept up to 35%.
The rate of increase will be 10 to 35 percent depending on the positions and salaries of the employees.

The management committee had cut the salaries of the directors after taking over the affairs.
According to the reports, there is a strong possibility that the nomination of two people will be revealed by Patron Chief PCB Mian Shehbaz Sharif in the next two to three days.

Najam Sethi, the current head of the management committee, along with former board head Zaka Ashraf, are in the fray with the support of the People\’s Party.
It should be noted that in December last year, the government dismissed Ramiz Raja and formed a management committee headed by Najam Sethi to take over the affairs of the PCB.
