School shooting in Brazil; A 16-year-old girl was killed

 

Brazelia: A gunman opened fire in a school in Brazil, killing a 16-year-old girl and injuring a student.

According to the World News Agency, a 21-year-old former student fired more than 21 shots at Prof. Helena Colludi Public School in the southern city of Brazil. The armed student came to the school to collect documents.

The attacking former student was arrested. The motive of the incident could not be determined. The investigation is ongoing.
A 16-year-old girl was killed in the shooting while a 17-year-old student was injured, whose condition is said to be critical.

In Brazil, there have been more than 12 incidents of attacks on schools in a year. On April 5, 4 children were killed in an attack on a day care center.

Similarly, in November last year, three people were killed and 11 others were injured when a former student opened fire in two schools.
